Hlásenie v anglickom jazyku: Stop clicking start licking

Licking as a way of shopping online?!

It is rare to meet a person today who can use their tongue – apart from chewing – for common communication properly. In recent years, there has been a decrease noticed in using ordinary mouth-to-mouth, face-to-face mean of communication. Majority of the population uses their fingers and typing as a mean of conversation or shopping.

This situation troubled a Slovak team of microwork website jaspravim.sk so much, that they came with a unique solution. They have been testing it together with Norwegian researchers from Oslo University for several years.

From today on, usual way of ordering and clicking on the website jaspravim.sk is to be replaced with licking. Instead of pushing Enter or clicking the mouse button, you only need to lick a button directly on the screen. This way, your purchase will be realized.

“You won’t be able to order any service by clicking the ORDER button. You will have to touch the button with the tip of your tongue. Only then you will be redirected to your shopping cart,” explains Mirka, co-owner of the Slovak microwork website jaspravim.sk. A research with 2 000 respondents has proved that this way of shopping helps stretching your neck muscles, while moving your head forward positively influences mood and overall physical condition.

“We believe this new way of shopping will quickly become popular among our users and will be implemented into other on-line shops. Considering the upcoming increasing interest in this way of ordering, we have supported our customer centre and are ready to provide consultations to any other websites,” says Mirka
